All Cavert wire is subjected to quality-control inspections at every step of the production process. This attention to detail, and our diligence in our manufacturing process, have made our wire the industry standard.
We start with our own prime-quality wire rods, instead of purchasing finished wire for resale. Those rods are drawn to wire specifications at our plant in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and then heat-treated in state-of-the-art annealing furnaces. Our annealing process eliminates hard and soft spots and creates a more consistent tensile strength than other types of heat treating. Cavert is the only American baling wire manufacturer using strand annealing, instead of batch annealing, for heat-treating wire.
